Celebrate Beltane, May Day Festival, with a deeply restorative Gong Sound Bath at Fern Bothy on Friday 1 May 2026 10:00-11:30 ❤️ Beltane marks the mid-point in Spring, half-way between the Spring Equinox & the Summer Solstice. It is an extremely powerful time to set intentions for yourself & your life. By recognizing and celebrating the little shifts in Earth’s natural rhythms, we can become more attuned to nature and feel more grounded in our everyday lives. Beltane is a joyful celebration of fertility present in nature, and the pleasures we get from being alive. A time to harness the energy of Beltane to ignite your inner flames of passion & creativity. To embolden yourself to be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire. When: 10:00-11:30, Friday 1 May 2026 Where: Fern Bothy, Steading, The Bruiser House, Longniddry, EH32 0QJ (Directions: fernbothy.com/faqs) Contraindications: please review contraindications before booking a ticket, thank you. Accessibility: please note that there are approx ten steps up to the event space with no access to a lift. On the day: Yoga mats, boulsters and blankets are provided. Wear loose comfy clothing. If colder weather please ensure you wear warm layers and you might like to consider bringing an extra blanket or sleeping bag to ensure you are warm. Be sure to bring some water to drink and it is suggested you don’t eat anything too heavy before session, a light healthy snack is ok. Gong Sound Bath Experience*: the gong has been used for thousands of years and is being recognised as a powerful, non-invasive healing modality. The sound waves from the Gong induce a meditative state and enter into the body, affecting change at the cellular level, as well as the quantum level. Even in one session, a noticeable change can be experienced. *Contraindications: please note that sound journeys are not suitable for anyone that is pregnant or has a pacemaker. If you have a heart condition, please check with your doctor. Hearing aids must be taken out during the gong bath. Sound baths may not be compatible with someone who has an ear infection, tinnitus, Meniere’s Disease, sound induced epilepsy, sound induced migraines, or who has metal implants (titanium ok). Please consult a medical professional in advance if unsure. Suitable for children 12+. Children 12-16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
