Winter Solstice Celebration: Sacred Cacao & Sound Bath
18:30-20:00, Friday 20 Dec 2024
Dirleton Kirk Hall, Manse Road EH39 5EL
Join us in Dirleton Kirk Hall for Winter Solstice on Friday 20 December 18.30-20.00 ❤️ for Sacred Cacao, Yoga Nidra & Sound Healing
Solstice marks the start of winter. It is also known as the returning of light. After the shortest day the sun starts to return and slowly but surely with it, the return of warmth and light.
Acknowledging and celebrating such sacred days are our soul’s opportunity to recalibrate and express our innate wholeness and reverence through ceremony and celebration and connection back to nature and ancestral wisdom.
Half of the Earth's quest for regenerative healing takes place in dormancy and darkness. Dark holy days are where we restore our depth and see the most far-reaching solutions especially during our bodies' times of heightened consciousness.
Energy exchange: £18 for this special class including cacao, yoga nidra and deep sound healing with the gong. We will finish with hot drinks and healthy treats at the end. In these challenging economic times, I am also offering a rate of £11 for this special class for anyone in financial hardship - no questions asked ❤️

Friday 20 December 2024
18:30 – 20:00
15 spaces available
Wear loose comfy clothing and bring your own yoga mat, blocks/ cushion, blanket and water. It is important that you are comfortable so it is worth bringing extra blankets and / or layers for your yoga mat to ensure you are super comfy and you have a bit more padding for lying down. Don’t eat anything too heavy beforehand, a light healthy snack is ok.
We will start with a yoga nidra to help us relax into a deeply meditative gong sound bath.
Gong sound baths are highly rejuvenating for the body, mind & soul and bring about an overall sense of relaxation, which can reduce anxiety, help develop a better ability to cope with stress, shift / release emotional blockages from trauma, and even stimulate altered states of consciousness for rest, relaxation and healing.
Gong Sound Bath Experience*: the gong has been used for thousands of years and is being recognised as a powerful, non-invasive healing modality. The sound waves from the Gong induce a meditative state and enter into the body, affecting change at the cellular level, as well as the quantum level. Even in one session, a noticeable change can be experienced.
*Contraindications. Please consult a medical professional in advance if you are unsure.
